The Sölva family invites you on an unforgettable and restful holiday in their centrally located, yet peaceful house. Our sunny and modern holiday home, with its corner balcony of over 16 metres, offers a magnificent panoramic view of Kaltern and the Mendel mountain ridge beyond.

Despite the peaceful and idyllic location, nestled among vineyards and close to the thought-provoking Calvary of the Cross, the historic village centre of Kaltern is just 5 minutes away by foot. The market village has picturesque residences, squares and guest houses in the distinctive Überetsch architectural style.

Within a short, 5-minute walk you will also find a grocery store, a pharmacy, the Wednesday market, several bars and ice-cream parlours, as well as the wine cellars, where you can really appreciate the successful result of farmers' labour and the sunny Kaltern climate. If you so desire, we would be more than happy to introduce you to Kaltern’s fruit and wine-making culture.

As the cycle path is only a few minutes away, our home is the ideal starting point for bike and walking tours through Kaltern’s vineyard landscapes.

Thanks to the nearby bus stop, you can easily reach the surrounding areas. This includes many possibilities, such as a refreshing day bathing at the Kaltern or Montiggler lakes, a ride on the famous Mendel funicular - the oldest and steepest funicular railway in Europe, which brings you to 1,363m above sea level in just a few minutes, or a stroll through the region’s capital of Bolzano.
